In the last few days I’ve been fascinated with chairs. These chairs are all part of d-vision which is an internship program for product development and industrial design in Israel. There are 15 interns each year and they commit to 2 years intensive training and work. These chairs form part of the Cafe Chair project and here are some of my favourites:

Marylin
Front on it looks like a smile

The Fly
I thought this was a great chair as it can hold a bag when sitting in a restaurant.

I think I prefer this chair as shown on the picture above. Which way do you prefer it?

This post has really reminded me that I have to update my desk chair soon, since the padding is thinning rapidly (and hurting my behind) plus the back rest is broken. I think it’s really time for an update.

This blog covers all beautiful things that inspire me and some of my own design work.

I showcase the wonderful creations of many designers from around the world that fills me up with inspiration. I hope you also feel inspired each time you visit.

I cover ceramics, patterns, furniture, glasswork, lighting, textiles, wallpaper and much more.
