On my recent trip to Wollongong I noticed that it was quite popular to put locks on lookouts and bridges engraved with messages of love and friendship.
These were some of the locks at Mt Keira Lookout in New South Wales. I quite like this idea and if I ever go back there I’d like to take my own lock engraved with a special message. I’m not too sure what the message would be, but I get the feeling I’ll have time to think about this one.
The lock reads: Standing together yet not too near, for the oak tree and the cypress grow not in each other’s shadow.
