Buddhist temple

A few weeks ago we visited the Nan Tien Temple in Wollongong which is the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere. We literally stumbled across the temple as we drove past it and decided to go and have a closer look.

We had a lovely vegetarian lunch, as you would in a Buddhist temple. And to tell you the truth, I have no idea what exactly I was eating all I know is that it tasted a lot like tofu, which I actually enjoy eating after having lived with my vegan sister for a few years.

I also bought this delicious savoury treat which had peanuts, crunchy seaweed and sesame seeds. It also had a little sweetness to it which I quite enjoyed.
