I’m now part of another exciting pop-up shop in Kingston called CARDIF Collective.
CARDIF stands for Canberra and Region Designers in Fashion and it will provide affordable design studios specifically for designers in fashion who want a dedicated place to work. CARDIF also has a retail arm, CARDIF Collective, which is a shop that CARDIF members can sell their creations without having to actually be there.
CARDIF will officially open in February next year but as a prelude to the official opening, the venue is opening up for a special Christmas shopping pop-up from 12 December through to 22 December.
CARDIF is located in Level 1, Cusack Centre, Green Square, Kingston.
Monday to Friday: 10am to 6pm
Saturday and Sunday: 10am to 4pm
Late night shopping Wednesday 16 Dec 10am to 8pm TODAY!
Drinks and nibbles will be available along with the chance to meet and mingle with designers.
I’m not actually physically going to be there but I will have a lot of my designs there, including wrapping paper, journals, document folders, cards, gift tags, ring binders and lots more.
CARDIF has been on the news on the last few days, take a look at these three articles:
CARDIF gives local designers a new inner south hub published in the Canberra Times.
CARDIF—there’s a new kid in town! published in Lost Four Words.
CARDIF Collective published in Her Canberra.
This is Christine, the wonderful lady behind it all.
If you want to know what is all about make sure you go to Kingston this weekend especially if you are still haven’t finished your Christmas shopping since there will be lots of unique items from at least 30 local designers. The pop-up shop stocks jewellery, fashion, millinery, accessories, homewares and more.
CARDIF and the CARDIF Collective are an exciting and unique concept here in Canberra and I really hope that Canberra supports this wonderful idea supporting local creatives.
