I’m a surface pattern and graphic designer, based in the beautiful capital city Canberra, Australia. I specialise in homewares, textiles and stationery.

I started this blog to keep a record of all the beautiful things I find that inspire me, and to showcase some of my work.

You can visit my work website at claudiaowen.com

At a more personal level, I was born and raised in Chile in a town called Rancagua. I had a beautiful childhood there and in my mid teens my family and I moved all the way from our hometown of Rancagua to the beautiful capital city of Australia in Canberra. The move was a big challenge but I survived and I can say that Canberra now feels like home and what a wonderful feeling that is!

I have 3 beautiful sisters and the most wonderful and kind hearted parents you could ever dream of. I am also married to a wonderful man and now more recently, heaven has blessed me with a beautiful baby girl.

I have a range of my designs at the shop including: leggings, silk scarves, folders, journals, clipboards and cushions.

CARDIF is located in Level 1, Cusack Centre, Green Square, Kingston.

Circle of designers is a label that has been conceived so that independent artists can easily transform their ideas into marketable environmentally friendly textile products. Our motto ‘art based textiles with eco intent’ best describes the intentions of the group. We use earth friendly inks, which are water-based & soil certified whilst respecting how things are made in the supply chain. The original items are carefully made from natural fabrics including hemp that has to be specially sourced – nothing is mass-produced. The fabric is made up into different styles from the range – from A-line skirts, kaftan dresses to scarves, bags & shrugs. Please visit the Circle of Designers website.
